Donation thief: At about 2:30 a.m. near the 32500 block of Pacific Highway South, an officer found a suspect attempting to open the donation bin outside of Goodwill. The suspect was contacted a few blocks away and the officer discovered he had multiple warrants. The suspect was arrested and then taken to St. Francis for a medical evaluation.
Illegal dumping: At about 9:29 a.m. near the 36900 block of Pacific Highway South, it was reported that the suspect(s) illegally dumped material at a private residence. Approximately 13 truckloads of natural material were unloaded.
May 4
There were at least 4 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Intoxicated man injured: At about 4 a.m. near the 31900 block of 3rd Lane SW, an intoxicated man knocked on an apartment door. The man had a large cut on his arm and told several versions of the story about his injury. He was transported to the hospital.
May 5
There were at least 7 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Carjacking: At about 5:50 p.m. near the 27400 block of Pacific Highway South, a suspect was carjacked at gunpoint after letting a suspect drive their vehicle. The suspect fled, driving the stolen vehicle east on South 272nd Street, and was not located.
May 6
There were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Carjacking: At about 10:26 p.m. near the 33300 block of 1st Place South, officers responded to an attempted carjacking report. The person said a suspect pointed a firearm at them and fired two shots. The person was not injured. The suspect was not located.
May 7

Woman threatened: At about midnight near South 356th Street and Pacific Highway South, a person reported that a homeless man threatened her with a knife and attempted to drag her into a wooded area. The person was able to free herself and run away. The suspect was not located.
May 8
There were at least 9 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Gun fired inside apartment: At about 4:55 a.m. near the 32300 block of 4th Place South, an armed security officer accidentally discharged his gun inside his apartment when placing it inside the holster. There were no injuries and no victims resulting from the gunshot.
