Free recycling

A spring recycling event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 19 at the Twin Lakes Park and Ride, at 21st Avenue Southwest and Southwest 344th Street.

Scrap metals and lumber, brush and branches, appliances, electronics, light bulbs, mattresses, bicycles, batteries, tires, household goods, oil and gas products, plastics, styrofoam blocks, packing peanuts and holiday light strands, among other things, will be accepted.
