Former candidate Gregory seeks vacant District 30 House seat

Carol Gregory has announced her candidacy for District 30 State Representative position 2.

Gregory, a Democrat, lost to incumbent Skip Priest, a Republican, in the 2008 general election. Priest has vacated the seat to run for mayor of Federal Way.

Gregory is director and co-founder of Burst for Prosperity, an organization that aims to reduce poverty while helping low-income families in Washington state.

A campaign website and contact information will be available soon, she said. Gregory has already been endorsed by the 30th District Democrats.
