Math for parents: The Federal Way Regional Library, 34200 1st Way S., is offering a math refresher class for parents. The class on Nov. 3 will include “Forgotten Math” such as integers, fractions, decimals, percentages, graphing basics, exponents, calculators, pre-algebra and algebra. E-mail michelem@kcls.org.

Free academic help: International Academy is a free after-school academic enhancement program for Federal Way students enrolled in the ELL program and who want to improve their English, social studies or math skills; make up credits for graduation; excel in their classes.
