Federal Way Public Schools and Red Canoe Credit Union are partnering together to provide a free financial literacy program for Federal Way teens, parents, teacher and community members.

Classes are on Tuesdays, from April 6 through May 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Decatur High School, 2800 SW 320th St. Participants are recommended to bring something to write on and a calculator. Light refreshments will also be available.

Class schedule: Basic financial planning, April 6; banking, April 13; consumer credit, April 20; mortgage and equity, April 27; food and nutrition vs. spending, May 4; insurance, May 11; investments, May 18; fraud and identity theft, May 25.
