Come join the free holiday tree lighting from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at Town Square Park.

Mayor Jim Ferrell will lead the tree lighting ceremony. The event will include musical performances by Jet Cities Chorus, Harmony Kings and the Brigadoon Elementary School Honor Choir, under the direction of Lynn Olson.

Santa Claus will arrive at the event in a fire truck to greet the public and there will also be appearances by Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and Frosty the snowman.

Kids will have an opportunity to spin the prize wheel, write letters to Santa and everyone is welcome to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, provided by Dumas Bay Center.

Town Square Park is located at 31620 20th Ave., across from the Transit Center.
