The Federal Way Toastmasters Club is having a city-wide open house from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Feb. 4.

The event will be at the King County 320th Library in Federal Way. Toastmasters is a cost-effective personal and professional self-development program.

A few event discussions include how to overcome the fear of public speaking, the four keys to making a personal transformation, the three essentials of learning something new and how to develop presentation and communications skills. Attendees can meet members of seven area Toastmasters clubs to find the right one to maximize their development and growth.
