All Federal Way schools are closed on Thursday, Dec. 1, due to snow and icy roads. Federal Way Public Schools first announced a two-hour late start on Wednesday evening and announced the closure on Thursday morning.

“While main roads may be clear in some areas, access to our inclement weather bus stops and side roads is limited due to icy road conditions in those areas,” according to the district.

There is no out-of-district transportation. There is also no Puget Sound Skills Center. All part-day and full-day ECAP and preschool programs are also canceled.

The district’s Educational Service Center will remain open.
