At their Jan. 26 fundraising gala, members of the Rotary Club of Federal Way raised their bid cards in support of Multi-Service Center’s Education and Employment Program.

The group raised more than $20,000 to help Multi-Service Center create a new technology lab for students.

The new technology lab will give MSC students opportunities to enhance computer skills, learn the most-current software programs, study for GED testing, and prepare for futures in computer-oriented workplaces. The lab is expected to open for students by fall.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer all our students an opportunity to enhance their computer skills,” said Amanda Sahli, director, MSC’s Education and Employment program. “What a tremendous gift the Rotary has given to area youth and adults who are working to change their lives in positive ways.”
