Federal Way police officers visited several neighborhoods across Federal Way to speak with the community and send a message that the city is united against crime during National Night Out on Aug. 5.

Federal Way police officers visited several neighborhoods across Federal Way to speak with the community and send a message that the city is united against crime during National Night Out on Aug. 5.

Cities around the nation also celebrated “America’s Night Out Against Crime,” which is designed to generate support for and participation in anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
