Federal Way police are asking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who allegedly kidnapped and robbed a woman at the Commons Mall while she was on her lunch break on Oct. 4.
The incident happened around 12:15 p.m. when the victim took her lunch break and was walking back to her vehicle parked near Macys. The first suspect contacted her, showed the butt of his gun and implied he had a bomb, according to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound notice. He allegedly forced the victim to drive him around until they met up with the second suspect.
The victim pled for her life and offered to get cash from a nearby bank, which she drove them to. She withdrew $1,000 from her account while the suspects waited in her car, the notice continues.
One of the suspects then stole the victim’s diamond ring and both men fled on foot.

Suspect one is described as a 30-year-old light skinned black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He is described as having a foreign accent – possibly Kenyon – with noticeably gapped front teeth. The man was wearing white tennis shoes with orange stripes.
The second suspect is described as a 30-year-old black male with a shorter stature, kinky short hair with a gold front tooth.
Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and charge of anyone involved in this kidnapping and robbery.
