Federal Way native Ohno to be inducted into speedskating hall of fame

Federal Way native Apolo Ohno will be inducted into the U.S. Speedskating Hall of Fame on May 13 at a ceremony held in Park City, Utah.

Federal Way native Apolo Ohno will be inducted into the U.S. Speedskating Hall of Fame on May 13 at a ceremony held in Park City, Utah.

Ohno has won over 30 medals in international competition as a short track speedskater. He is the winningest American in Winter Olympics history.

Ohno is a class of 2000 graduate of Decatur High School via Internet Academy.

He also was the winner of the fourth season of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2007.
