The Federal Way Mirror is hosting a free political forum featuring the 30th Legislative District candidates Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club.
This event allows voters to meet and hear from candidates on various issues prior to casting their ballots. General election ballots are mailed to voters Wednesday, Oct. 19 and the general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
The forum, moderated by Dr. T.M. Sell, includes the following candidates:
Legislative District 30, State Representative Pos. 1
- Jamila E. Taylor (Prefers Democratic Party) (incumbent)
- Casey Jones (Prefers Republican Party)
Legislative District 30, State Representative Pos. 2
- Kristine Reeves (Prefers Democratic Party)
- Ashli Tagoai (Prefers Republican Party)
Legislative District 30, State Senator
- Claire Wilson (Prefers Democratic Party) (incumbent)
- Linda Kochmar (Prefers Republican Party)
The forum is held at 3583 SW 320th St. in Federal Way. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event is from 6-8 p.m.
