Lakota Middle School in Federal Way is in an external lockdown due to an anonymous email threat sent to a staff person this morning.

The police and district security are investigating the threat. Police do not feel the threat is credible, however, as a precaution a K-9 unit will go through the school.

Students and staff are safe, district officials said. The school district will keep parents notified through a call out system and or on by district Facebook page at www.facebook.com/fwps210.
