U.S. Marshals are searching for a Federal Way man who is accused of violently raping and molesting a child for several years.
According to Washington’s Most Wanted, the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force is searching for Steven L. Huey, who detectives say could be in Texas or Arizona.
Huey, 34, was charged on Nov. 25, 2013 of first-degree child rape, first-degree child molestation and second-degree child molestation in King County Superior Court.
Charging documents state Huey allegedly raped a younger relative between 2009-2011 and molested her for several years, since the child was 11 years old.
The alleged abuse came to light in July 2013, when the victim’s mother reported the incidents to Federal Way police.
The girl told police Huey “would punch her arms or drag her by the wrists” if she refused his alleged sexual advances, according to probable cause documents.
Huey later admitted to the mother that he raped the child, the documents continue. He fled the home and has not been seen since.
Anyone who has information regarding Huey’s whereabouts are urged to call an anonymous tip into Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
