Sherwood Forest students and staff celebrated the start of construction for their new walking path Monday morning, June 1.

The Sherwood Forest PTA and school community has worked hard this school year to raise the necessary funds to make this walking path happen.

Principal Alisa DeSart thanked all who contributed their time, energy, and money to to provide our students and school community with a great place to encourage fitness and exercise.

Construction was completed on June 3 and a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
