Book group: The Multicultural Book Group will discuss “Escape” by Carolyn Jessop at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Federal Way 320th Library, 848 S. 320th St. This autobiography describes life growing up inside the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints cult in Colorado City, Ariz., and her escape from the cult with her eight children. St. Luke’s Annual Women’s Event: Grandmothers, mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters, what a fabulous day to honor each other. Tax help: Free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers with low and middle incomes, with special attention to those age 60 and older, is available from AARP Tax-Aide from Feb. 1 through April 15.
