From a King County Sheriff report: A 22-year-old Auburn man died this morning when the car he was riding in was involved in a one-car accident about 4 a.m. Oct. 7. The male driver fled on foot and was not found. The dead man was the only passenger in a 1990 Nissan Stanza. The car was southbound on 46th Ave S. when it went through the stop sign at a “T” intersection at SW 352nd Street and hit a tree. The man died at the scene. The incident is remains under investigation.
