Explicit comment left on 12-year-old’s Facebook page | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Explicit communications: At 4:05 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 30600 block of Pacific Highway South, a mother reported sexually explicit comments left by a man in his 20s on her 12-year-old daughter’s Facebook page.

• CPS: At 9:36 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 31400 block of 28th Avenue, police responded to a call about a lost child. They found three children left alone in a dirty apartment. Child Protective Services took custody of the kids.

• Home burglary: At 5:32 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 35700 block of 6th Avenue Southwest, a residential burglary took place. Three flat screen televisions, a laptop computer and jewelry were stolen.

• Prescription: At 10:54 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 34600 block of 11th Place South, a complainant reported that someone was attempting to use his Drug Enforcement Administration number to get a fraudulent prescription.

• Threats: At 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at 1900 S. 314th St., three subjects were in an argument about one of the subjects nearly pushing a shopping cart into another subject’s daughter. Racial slurs were exchanged and one subject threatened to shoot another one.

• Found wallet: At 10:20 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 33600 block of Pacific Highway South, a citizen turned in a wallet found on the side of the road.

• Parking lot: At 9:35 p.m. Nov. 6 at 34520 16th Ave. S., a suspect became verbally aggressive when a victim took his parking spot. The suspect sprayed the victim with soda pop and then sped off.

• Assault: At 8:09 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 2500 block of South 286th Place, a suspect took property from a victim and then struck her in the head with his body and a handgun.
