The public is invited to attend a benefit event June 5 for a Federal Way teen with a rare form of cancer.
The benefit is being held for Jayne Johnson, who wishes to have a wig made of her own hair. The wig costs approximately $1,500.
The gathering will be held from 4 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the beach in Seattle’s Golden Garden State Park, 8498 Seaview Place N.W. A limited number of hotdogs and marshmallows will be provided. Attendees are advised to bring their own food and drink as well.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Jayne’s father, Guy Johnson.
