Math team takes first
The Thomas Jefferson High School math team won first place in the overall sweepstakes at the Mu Alpha Theta State Math Contest. Medical program
Students who will complete the eighth grade this year are invited to participate in a free Health Adventures summer program at St. Francis Hospital. The program introduces youths to a variety of career opportunities in health care through guided visits to different departments at St. Francis and activities. The Health Adventures Program will run from 4 to 7:30 p.m. each day from July 7-10. Call (253) 944-4176.
SAT review
DeVry University will host a free SAT review for high school students from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. April 19 at DeVry University, 3600 South 344th Way. Enterprise fundraiser
The Enterprise Elementary School PTA will host an ESCAPE charity auction at 6 p.m. April 26 at the Centre at Norpoint in Federal Way. Funds raised will benefit the Accelerated Reader reading program and repairs to playground equipment.
