A crowd of kids and parents bathed in the spring sunshine at the 58th Annual Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt on March 30 at Steel Lake Park.
The Easter Bunny posed for photos and handed out treats as the kids hunted for colored eggs. The grand prizes were pink and blue 20-inch bicycles for the lucky hunters. Stuffed animals were picked out by the lucky kids who found eggs with tickets. A section was provided for special needs kids. Even the adults won raffle prizes.
The Federal Way Lions hold fundraisers and projects throughout the year that benefit the community. Examples include the annual classic car show in August as well as a recent dictionary donation to Sunnycrest Elementary School.
