The Federal Way City Council is accepting applications to fill three positions on the city’s Diversity Commission.

Applications are available on the city’s Web site or by calling (253) 835-2540. Deadline to apply is May 3.

The commission advises the council and staff about policy matters to ensure all members of the community are part of the decision equation. The nine-member commission meets at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. Members serve three-year terms and must also live within the Federal Way School District.
