Candidates in the race for both Legislative District 30 state House seats will attend the Mirror’s annual debate next week, and everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.

The debate, free and open to the public, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club (3583 SW 320th St.).

Candidates for Position 1, Linda Kochmar and Mike Pellicciotti, will be on stage from 6-6:45 p.m., while the Position 2 candidates, Teri Hickel and Kristine Reeves, will take the stage at 7-7:45 p.m.

Candidates will answer both written questions and face-to-face questions from those in attendance.

The debate will be moderated by T.M. Sell, a professor of journalism and political science at Highline College.
