Crime blotter: March 8, 2008

The following is a sample from the Federal Way police public information log:

• At 4:08 a.m. March 5, a man reported that he was slapped in the face by his girlfriend in their home at 31514 25th Lane S. The girlfriend, a juvenile, admitted to slapping the man and said she did it because he was bothering her while she was sleeping. She was arrested and booked for domestic violence assault.

• At 5:25 p.m. March 5, a woman reported finding a Fender Stage 100 amplifier in the bushes in her front yard at 32621 6th Ave. S.W. She suspected the amplifier was stolen, but police records could not confirm her theory. The amp was taken into evidence.

• At 4:53 p.m. March 3, a residence was burglarized at 34603 4th Place S. Items stolen included jewelry, checks, medication and an antique bible.

• At 1:09 a.m. Feb. 29, a boy was arrested after assaulting his mother at 1900 S.W. Campus Drive. The mother suffered from scratches on her forehead and hand.

• At 7:15 a.m. Feb. 29, a student reported being sexually assaulted at Sacajawea Middle School, 1101 S. Dash Point Road.

• At 4:02 p.m. Feb. 29, a man reported that the previous night he was eating dinner at The Rock Pizza, 34817 Enchanted Parkway, when an unknown woman threw a piece of pizza at him, hitting him in the eye. The following day, the man’s eye still hurt and he sought medical attention.

• At 3:58 p.m. Feb. 29, a girl reported that an unknown man in a white van attempted to lure her into his vehicle near Southwest 312th Street and Dash Point Road Southwest.
