Crime blotter: Bomb threat can’t stop man’s girlfriend from being arrested

• At 11:48 a.m. Dec. 31 at 34520 16th Ave. S., a male called to report a bomb threat at the location at which his girlfriend was currently being arrested. The threat was an attempt to free the woman and the man later admitted to the incident. No bomb was on location.

• At 2:45 p.m. Jan. 2 at 32209 11 Place S., a person discovered his or her car keys missing after they were left in a door. Since then the victim has found sunflower seeds in the vehicle and a seat pushed back further than normal. American music, rather than the Thai music the victim listens to, was also found playing on the radio. Nothing was missing.

• At 3:18 p.m. Jan. 5 at 33333 Pacific Highway S., an auto sales office was broken into and car keys were taken. Several cars were stolen. There are no suspects or witnesses.

• At 8:32 p.m. Jan. 4 at 31827 Pacific Highway S., an unknown male displayed a firearm and grabbed $422 from a cash register.

• At 8:14 p.m. Jan. 2 at 31621 23rd Ave. S., a male pulled a gun at the transit center and fired two shots at a male victim. The victim ran and called his mother to pick him up. Both the victim and his mother refused to cooperate with police and did not file a report of the incident.

• At 9:58 p.m. Jan. 2 at 2406 S.W. 334th Place, unknown persons fired gunshots into a residence. Nobody was injured.

• At 4:54 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 30600 block of Pacific Highway South, a suspect entered a person’s apartment via an unlocked door and raped a victim who was staying overnight. The unidentified suspect fled the scene.

• At 8:40 a.m. Dec. 31 in the 800 block of Southwest 307th Street, suspect left his or her infant son with a friend while he or she attended a party. The guardian failed to return to the residence for his or her son and made no contact with the friend through Jan. 2, when the child was taken into custody and released to Child Protective Services.
