On March 24, construction crews began placing large bridge girders for a new freeway ramp at Interstate 5 and State Route 18 in Federal Way.
According to Washington State Department of Transportation, two cranes lifted the 100-ton, 158-foot-long concrete girders into place from approximately 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Four girders were placed each day.
