Metropolitan King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer will be delivering retired Metro Transit Vanpool vans in Council District 7 to organizations that can provide transportation assistance to low-income, elderly or young people or people with disabilities.

The programs receiving vans are the Auburn Food Bank, the Multi-Service Center, the Federal Way Boys and Girls Club and Valley Cities Counseling.

The vanpool program provides mobility for a diverse array of King County residents, supports the positive work of various local organizations and relieves traffic congestion by reducing the need for single-occupancy vehicles.
