Construction update: Lane closures on Pacific Highway South

Pacific Highway South HOV Lanes Phase Four update: Motorists should expect southbound lanes closures on Pacific Highway South from South 304th Street to South 308th Street between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. until Aug. 30. Expect northbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at South 304th Street the week of Aug. 30.

Northbound lane closures on Pacific Highway South between South 310th Street and 18th Avenue South will take place 9 a.m to 4 p.m. through the week of Aug. 23.

There will be nighttime lane closures the week of Aug. 30, when drainage crossings are installed at the South 308th Street intersection. Lane closures will be between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

JR Hayes will install new storm drainage along South 308th Street, from Federal Way High School across Pacific Highway South east to 18th Avenue South, the week of Aug. 30. There will be daytime lane closures on South 308th Street during this time. Access will be maintained as the drainage installation crosses business and apartment frontages.

JR Hayes will remove a billboard, at the southeast corner of the intersection at South 304th Street and Pacific Highway South, and the awning at Al Holz Transmission, the week of Aug. 30. Business access to Al Holz Transmission and to Steel Lake Village businesses will be maintained during this demolition work.
