The Federal Way City Council will hold its annual retreat 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Dumas Bay Centre, 3200 SW Dash Point Road. The meeting is open to the public and the opportunity for public comment will be available toward the end of the day.
According to the city, there are five agenda items the council will tackle during the all-day retreat: developing a sustainable city budget, providing public safety, economic development and civic center development, banner infrastructure and use policy, and council rules and procedures. A lunch break is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
