City Center Access in Federal Way: By the numbers

The City Center Access project has long been in the works. Here’s a look at the numbers and costs associated with the project.

• 2003: Year the project began

• $525,000: Spent on a feasibility study

• 8: Phases included in the project

• 2: Phase the project is currently in, which includes an environmental assessment

• $3.2 million: Spent so far on phase two

• 47: Traffic solutions initially introduced

• 3: currently considered solutions, including two build and one no-build option, presented in 2005

• 1: Final solution, likely to be Alternative One: South 312th Street, will be chosen
