At 1:15 a.m., on April 29, at an undisclosed block of SW 319th Ln, a seven-year-old child called police to inform them that his mother had left him and a four-year-old sibling alone for a number of hours. The report notes the mother arrived back at home while police were still on the scene.
Woman cited for DUI after narrowly avoiding crash:
At 1:42 a.m., on May 4, in the 35000 block of 21st Ave SW, a woman was stopped and cited for DUI after narrowly missing an active patrol officer’s vehicle. The report notes the woman was transferred to Fife because of outstanding warrants she had there.
Woman robbed of cellphone and purse after getting off of bus:
At 12:27 a.m., on May 4, in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway S, a woman was robbed of her cellphone and purse by two unknown male suspects. According to the report, the woman got off the bus and was approached by the first man, who asked to use her cellphone. The woman complied, and handed it over, at which point the man began running. While this was happening, the second unknown male suspect grabbed the woman’s purse, which the report notes had been left unattended by the woman.
Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club burglarized:
At 3:07 a.m., on May 4, in the 3500 block of SW 320th St, employees at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club reported unknown suspects had burglarized the facility. According to the report, the unknown suspects were able to make off with $500.
Man assaulted by sisters:
At 2:09 a.m., on May 2, in the 35000 block of 21st Ave SW, a man reported that he was assaulted by his three sisters during an alcohol-fueled argument.
Apartment complex resident causes disturbance:
At 1:00 p.m., on May 3, in the 1900 block of SW Campus Dr, numerous residents of the Cascade Ridge apartments reported that a woman, who is a resident of the apartments, was yelling at and assaulting other residents of the complex. According to the report, when officers arrived, a number of residents approached them to inform them that the woman had slapped them when they attempted to talk with her. The report also notes that at one point, the troublemaking woman was naked and throwing various items from her apartment. The report indicates the woman was eventually placed under arrest by police.
Shoplifting “team” nabbed in the act:
At 1:03 p.m., on May 3, in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway S, a “husband and wife team” were detained for attempting to shoplift a number of items from an Albertson’s store.
Drunken man passes out in woman’s yard:
At 1:26 a.m., on May 2, in the 700 block of S 313th St, a woman reported that an unknown male had passed out in her front yard. According to the report, upon police arrival, police discovered the man to be heavily intoxicated, to the point that he had urinated in his pants. The report notes the man was heavily intoxicated and thought he was in Seattle. The man was eventually transported to St. Francis Hospital.
Woman robbed:
At an undisclosed time, on May 2, in the 33000 block of 7th Pl SW, a woman was robbed by an unknown male suspect. According to the report, the “victim was approached by an unknown black male and thrown to the ground, causing injury to the victim’s right elbow.” The suspect then “forcibly removed a Coach wristlet/purse and walked away.”
Man skips out on cab fare, but leaves ID in cab:
At 2:49 a.m., on April 30, at the intersection of S 288th/Military Rd S, a man ran out on a cab fare of $65.80. According to the report, the man left his valid photo ID with the cab driver, and was going to be cited for his failure to pay through the mail.
