Percy is a sweet dog looking for a forever home. He was picked up as a stray dog in the Bellevue area a few weeks ago, and no one ever came for him.
He is a mix of rat terrier and Chihuahua. He loves to play with squeaky toys, play tug-o-war with rope toys, chew on bones and, most of all, cuddle with people. He always wants to give kisses.
Percy would be happy sleeping on the bed with you each night but he is crate trained and will happily sleep in his crate. He has a good balance of energy but is not hyper. He loves to go for walks (unless it is raining) and is well-behaved on a leash.
Percy gets along with other dogs and is polite when he meets them while he is out in public. He is very well-behaved at the dog park. Percy barks only to alert you of noises outside or someone at the front door, but other than that he is quiet. He is good with cats too.
He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Percy is approximately 3 years old and about 14 pounds. If you would like to meet Percy, please request an application via email to rescuinganimals@gmail.com. He is currently in a foster home in Federal Way.
