Candidate debates: Federal Way mayor, District 30 Legislature, District 9 Congress

• A debate between Federal Way mayor candidates Skip Priest and Jim Ferrell is slated for 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at Federal Way High School, 30611 16th Ave. S.

• The Federal Way Chamber of Commerce will host a forum with Federal Way’s mayor candidates during its monthly membership luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club, 3583 SW 320th St. Price: $20 with RSVP, $25 at the door, $45 non-member, $20 attendance only. • For the three Legislature races, a debate will begin at 6 p.m. Oct. 4 at Federal Way High School. This debate features position 1 candidates Shawn Sullivan and Mark Miloscia, position 2 candidates Katrina Asay and Carol Gregory, and State Senate candidates Tracey Eide and Tony Moore.

• A debate between District 9 Congressman Adam Smith (D) and Republican challenger Dick Muri will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at Federal Way High School, 30611 16th Ave. S.
