Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Aggressive begging: At 9:25 a.m. May 27 at South 320th Street and Interstate 5, a suspect was arrested when she was observed holding a sign that read “Mom in need of financial help Jesus loves.” The subject was seen accepting money from a passing vehicle.

• Public urination: At 8:13 a.m. May 27 in the 2200 block of South 320th Street, a suspect was arrested for urinating in public.

• Plant theft: At 1:32 p.m. May 26 at 2131 S.W. 336th St., a suspect stole plants located outside Rite Aid. The act took place while the suspect waited for someone inside the store.

• Head butt: At 1:05 p.m. May 26 in the 2400 block of Southwest 325th St., a victim reported her boyfriend head-butted her in the nose after returning home drunk.

• Death threats: At 11:44 a.m. May 26 at 30611 16th Ave. S., it was discovered that an unknown suspect wrote “I will kill 7 people tomorrow” above the urinals in a boys restroom at Federal Way High School. A notification letter was sent home with parents.

• Stolen firearm: At 8:50 p.m. May 27 in the 32500 block of Pacific Highway South, a vehicle was prowled and a firearm was stolen.

• Paraphernalia possession: At 3:10 p.m. May 27 at 1101 S. Dash Point Road, a student at Sacajawea Middle School was found in possession of a marijuana pipe on school grounds.

• Counterfeit bill: At 7:05 p.m. May 28 at 2222 S. 314th St., police responded to a scene were a fraudulent $20 bill was being used to try to purchase an item.

• Stolen phones: At 1:34 p.m. May 28 at 1706 S. Commons, unknown suspect stole three phones from Radio Shack.

• Possible child abuse: At 11:42 am May 28 in the 300 block of Southwest 308th Street, a complainant reported her 7-year-old son was hit by his teacher. She said she believes there’s ongoing abuse. The mother also claimed she was taking the school district to court for placing her child in disabled classes when he is not developmentally delayed.
