Federal Way Arts Commission, in partnership with the Federal Way Municipal Court, is sponsoring an art contest for students in grades 1 through 12 living within the boundaries of Federal Way Public Schools. Entries selected will be displayed at the court. Cash awards will offered: $100 for first place in elementary, middle and high school, and $50 for second place in elementary, middle and high school.
The theme is “Liberty and Justice for All.” Paper size must be no more than 12-by-17.5 inches and artwork must be suitable for framing. Two entries per student will be accepted. Material must be original work and signed in the lower right corner. Entries must be returned with an entry form signed by a parent/guardian. Entries can be mailed or delivered to: Federal Way Arts Commission, Student Art Contest P.O. Box 9718 Federal Way, WA 98063.
