Organizers of the event arranged for a portion of the funds for the 5k/10k runs to go to those affected by the eastern Washington wildfires.

Candidates can begin filing at 8 a.m. Monday (May 5) for more than 3,200 seats on city councils, county commissions, school boards, and special districts.
Food distribution will still occur, moving to the new Redondo Heights housing complex, but with a reduced staff.
