June 26

There was one vehicle theft, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Shoe robbery: At about 7:30 p.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers concluded that a robbery had occurred when they responded to a call in which the victim stated that three subjects, two of whom were armed with handguns, stole his shoes during a planned meet-up. The suspect’s vehicle fled onto I-5.

June 27

There was one vehicle theft, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Prior fleeing: At about 1:50 a.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, an officer observed a male smoking narcotics from foil. The officer observed the man for several minutes and then determined that the man was the same male who had fled from police in a previous incident. The officer contacted the male and told him he was under arrest for his prior fleeing. After a short foot pursuit, the male was arrested.

Possible illegal discharge: At about 4:40 a.m., officers responded to a call from a female who said she had invited an unknown male to her home. The female said she and the man engaged in a verbal argument, after which he then left. She said shortly after he exited her residence, she heard a gunshot. Officers canvassed the area for possible shell casings or witnesses, but found none. The only description was that the male arrived in a black four-door sedan with unknown plates at her residence.

Kicking a bus: At about 8 p.m. in the 31000 block of 23rd Avenue South, officers observed a person kicking a King County Metro bus. The person was arrested, trespassed, and cited for unlawful transit conduct and released with a court date.

June 28

There were three vehicle thefts, and six vehicles were recovered on this day.

Stolen vehicle pursuit: At about 1:30 a.m. in the 35000 block of 16th Avenue South, officers observed an occupied stolen vehicle. As officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled, and a pursuit was authorized. No further details are provided in the report.

Suspected attempted auto theft: At about 3 a.m. in the 1200 block of South 336th Street, an officer responded to a report of subjects seen ducking around vehicles and officers who observed subjects tampering with a vehicle scene. Officers arrived on the scene and found two subjects seated in a vehicle. When the subjects saw officers, one of them entered another vehicle and fled. Officers contacted a lieutenant asking to authorize a pursuit, but the lieutenant said there would be no pursuit.

$50,000 fraud: At about 9 a.m., officers responded to a report at the police department in which someone reported being scammed into depositing $50,000 into someone else’s Bitcoin accounts.

Weapon shot at building: At about 12:40 p.m. in the 30000 block of 3rd Avenue SW, officers responded to a report of a weapon shot at an occupied vehicle and building.

Assault: At about 8 p.m. on Hoyt Road SW and SW 331st Place, officers arrived at the scene of a traffic collision. After arriving, officers found that the driver of vehicle one assaulted the driver of vehicle two following the collision. Subsequently, the driver of vehicle one was arrested for the assault.

June 29

There was one vehicle theft, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Stolen handguns: At about 8:45 a.m. in the 32000 block of Gateway Center Boulevard, officers responded to an overnight vehicle break-in call. The victim reported that $3,500 in cash, electronics, personal items, a BYRNA handgun, and a Glock 9mm handgun were stolen. No suspects were located.

Dine and dash: At about 10 p.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, dispatch was made aware of a theft that occurred at a restaurant. According to the reporting party, a skinny white male of about 5’11” consumed about $100 worth of food and walked out of the restaurant. Employees attempted to follow the male, but he ran away. The manager said if the male were located, she would have wanted him to be trespassed and arrested. Officers patrolled the area but could not locate him.

June 30

There was one vehicle theft, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Overdosed: At about 3 a.m. in the 1900 block of South 320th Street, officers responded to a male who had overdosed. Officers administered four doses of Narcan, and the man awoke, but still would not speak or move. Officers involuntarily committed him due to worries about him overdosing again.

Burglarized: At about 7:45 a.m. in the 32000 block of 32nd Avenue South, officers responded to an overnight burglary in which several thousands of dollars worth of electronics were stolen.

Assault with a knife: At about 3 p.m. in the 3700 block of South 321st Street, officers responded to an assault 2/domestic violence, which was classified as an assault with a knife. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Purposeful car crash: At about 6:40 p.m. in the 29000 block of 18th Avenue South, an officer responded to a hit and run. After further investigation, officers determined that the suspect intentionally hit the victim’s vehicle before fleeing. The suspect was arrested, cited and booked for the crime.

July 1

There was one vehicle theft, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Threat with a weapon: At about 11:25 a.m. in the 1700 block of South 281st Place, officers responded to a threat with a weapon. Through investigation, the responding officer developed probable cause for the suspect, who subsequently became combative, was placed under arrest, and transported to King County Jail.
