Four people were injured when a semi-truck rolled on I-5 south near Federal Way on Thursday.
Shortly before noon, South King Fire and Rescue crews responded to the freeway just south of S. 272nd Street for reports of a multiple vehicle collision.
A semi trailer detached from the truck, leaving the trailer on its side in the roadway, according to a tweet from South King Fire. The truck drove through a road barrier and rolled onto its side.
Two patients suffered non-life-threatening injuries and two additional patients have minor injuries. One of the patients was transported to a local hospital.
Large debris remains in and near the roadway, leaving several freeway lanes closed. Drivers should expect delays and take alternate routes.
