• At 3:57 p.m. Aug. 2 at 523 S.W. 328th Court, a suspect entered the room of a woman and began yelling at her. The suspect then grabbed the woman’s hair and threw her about the room. The victim suffered a minor cut on her foot, lost clumps of hair, an abrasion on one knee and a welt on her lower back. She refused to submit a report to police.

• At 3:33 p.m. Aug. 2 at Southwest 21st Street and Southwest Campus Drive, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI and was found in possession of marijuana.

• At 4:59 p.m. Aug. 2 at 2410 S. 312th St., a male reported he was sexually assaulted at Steel Lake Park.

• At 7:26 p.m. Aug. 1 at 33600 Pacific Highway S., a woman was arrested for prostitution after offering and agreeing to a sex act for money with an undercover police officer.

• At 9:17 a.m. July 31 at 31621 23rd Ave. S., a woman reported she was open-handidly hit on the side of the head by a woman on the bus.

• At 10:55 a.m. July 30, a victim reported that an unknown suspect stole the victim’s license plate from the Federal Way Community Center parking lot.

• At 4:57 p.m. July 30 at 29815 Pacific Highway S., a report was filed that a hotel manager and guest were involved in a verbal dispute over payment for a room rented. The manager claimed the guest owed $54. The guest claimed he left $100 in his room that morning and returned to find it gone. He reported suspecting the hotel management took the money and because of this refused to pay the $54 he owed.

• At 8:02 p.m. July 30 at 31100 Pacific Highway S., an officer witnessed a suspect urinating in public. The suspect had two warrants and was arrested and booked into jail.

• At 11:20 p.m. July 30 at 33700 Hoyt Road S.W., an officer observed a motorist drive a vehicle through yellow caution tape and continue toward the scene of a traffic accident. The driver received a citation for failure to obey an officer and was cited for lack of valid proof of auto insurance.

• At 12:32 p.m. at 32413 6th Ave. S., a Toyota Camry was discovered missing two wheels, equipped with tires, lug nuts and hubcaps. The driver’s side of the car was left resting on two granite rocks.

• At 5:56 p.m. July 29 at S.W. 352nd St., a 9-year-old was threatened with a knife by a 9-year-old neighbor.

• At 8:33 p.m. July 29, a woman contacted police to report she had been assualted earlier that day by her ex-boyfriend. The two had been in the woman’s car with her 18-month-old son when an argument erupted. The victim pulled over and demanded the man leave the vehicle. He got out, pulled open her door, elbowed her in the face and continued to drag her out of the vehicle. He then took off in the car.

• At 3:35 p.m. July 28 at 2020 S. 320th St., an employee at Emerald City Smoothie reported that three males stole cash from a tip jar.
