Devon King, a 2009 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, died Oct. 28 in Maui after she was struck by a speeding vehicle.

The collision occurred about 6:52 p.m. Oct. 28 in Kahului, according to the Maui Police Department. Two pedestrians, including King, were hit by a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by a 27-year-old Kahului resident.
