2 men injured in Westway shooting

Two men were injured when a suspect fired shots into a targeted home in Federal Way on Nov. 6.

At about 1:24 p.m. near the 33300 block of 24th Avenue SW, Federal Way police were dispatched to reports of a shooting, said Cmdr. Cary Murphy of FWPD.

Upon arrival, officers found two people — a 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old man — had been shot. Both men were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation so far has revealed the home that was shot at was targeted by the suspects, Murphy said.

Other people were in the home at the time of the shooting, but police do not know how many people, nor the ages of those inside the home, Murphy said.

Anyone with information about the shooting should contact the Federal Way Police Department at 253-835-2121.
