A crowd of supporters – including representatives of the walk-sponsoring Federal Way Day Center, Mayor Jim Ferrell, King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer and City Councilwoman Susan Honda – accompanied “12th Fan” Keith Comery through the Federal Way Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

Federal Way was the second day and the midpoint of Comery’s nearly 50-mile walk from Spanaway, where he lives, to CenturyLink Field. Donations and proceeds from the walk will go to the proposed Federal Way Day Center, a hygiene and service resource center for homeless people.
