1 of 19 Federal Way Council candidates has criminal history

The Federal Way City Council will interview the applicants beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 7 in the council chambers.

Only one of 19 candidates who applied to fill the vacancy on the Federal Way City Council has an arrest and criminal charges on their record.

The Mirror previously reported Tony Pagliocco is on probation for reckless driving following his 2016 arrest for DUI and physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence.

According to Federal Way Police Department records the Mirror obtained this week through a public records request, none of the other 18 candidates vying for the open seat have any criminal records with the department or via a search with the court system.

The Federal Way City Council will interview all the applicants beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 7 in the council chambers. The meeting is open to the public.
