Federal Way fall fundraiser supports care for individuals navigating recovery

Valley Cities hosts fundraiser on Oct. 3, with breakfast, speakers and an exciting raffle!

Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care is excited to announce the inaugural Providing Pathways to Recovery: Fall Fundraiser Breakfast on Oct. 3 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the newly renovated and reimagined Staybridge Suites in Federal Way.

Enjoy a breakfast buffet, a special guest speaker and a raffle for a custom, 14k yellow gold and natural Ethiopian opal pendant valued at $1,250, donated by Federal Way Custom Jewelers.

“As Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care approaches our 60th anniversary, we’re thrilled to reintroduce our fundraising events. Our breakfast fundraiser is a fantastic opportunity for community members to enjoy a delicious breakfast, learn more about Valley Cities and hear from our guest speaker, King County Councilmember Girmay Zahilay,” says John Grossman, Director of Development and Community Giving.

Helping individuals navigate the path to recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, Valley Cities operates 10 outpatient clinics and two inpatient clinics throughout the King County area. Together, they serve more than 18,000 clients annually.

Funds raised during the breakfast event will provide additional support and resources for clients on their recovery journey.

In addition to hearing from Zahilay, guests can look forward to a special Valley Cities video presentation featuring King County community leaders, and past and present Valley Cities clients and team members.

Space is limited, and tickets are free with a suggested minimum donation of $20. Reserve your spot online today! If you can’t attend the event, consider donating online to support Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care’s ongoing efforts to aid community members on their path to recovery.
