Swagg-n-Wagon wins Taste of Federal Way 2024

Photos from this year’s event.

Swagg-n-Wagon Wings and Things won first place as well as the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Taste of Federal Way, which was held Sept. 28 at the Federal Way Farmers Market.

Each participating restaurant partnered with a local nonprofit organization, which benefited from ticket sales. Swagg-n-Wagon was paired with Federal Way Knights Baseball, whose volunteers helped serve party wings, waffle fries and a super tasty Swagg Sauce.

Second place went to Poverty Bay Cafe (paired with FUSION) for its savory breakfast sandwiches. Third place went to Black Bear Diner (paired with FW Warriors Athletics) for its delectable chocolate mousse dessert.

Other participating restaurants and charities included Mama Stortini’s (Do the Right Thing), Puerto Vallarta Mexican (Ted Colby for St. Vincent De Paul Parish School), Jimmy Mac’s Roadhouse (Rotary Club of Federal Way), East India Grill (Valley Cities Counseling and Behavioral Center), K.C. Deez BBQ (Federal Way Knights Softball), and Sub-Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream (Federal Way Farmers Market).

The annual event attracted hundreds of attendees. Live music was provided by The Lost and Found.
