Puget Sound Sumi Artists display work at bonsai garden

Weyerhaeuser Company’s Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection is hosting “SUMIE, Visions of Nature - Paintings in Ink and Color by Members of the Puget Sound Sumi Artists” through July 25.

Weyerhaeuser Company’s Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection is hosting “SUMIE, Visions of Nature – Paintings in Ink and Color by Members of the Puget Sound Sumi Artists” through July 25.

This annual juried exhibit features works by Nola Tressdar, Darlene Dihel, Patrice Bruzas, Lois Yoshida, and other members of the Puget Sound Sumi Artists. The group was founded by local artists who studied brush painting in Japan.

The Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection features 60 world class bonsai from six Pacific Rim nations displayed in a woodland setting.
