My name is Mana, and I need a home | Pet of the Week

Mana is a 2-year-old male pit bull terrier-mix, about 48 pounds (ID #A519952). Mana is very energetic and playful. He knows how to sit on command and shakes paws. He takes treats gently and loves to play fetch. Because of his energy level, Mana would need a home where he’ll get lots of exercise and playtime. While he loves going for walks, Mana is also part hound and wants to check out every smell. He is pretty strong and can pull on the leash at times. Because of his high energy, Mana would do best in a family with children 12 years and older, who can run and play with him and walk him on a leash without getting knocked over or pulled around. He would like to meet any other dogs in your home before being adopted to make sure they play well together. If you’re looking for a playful and friendly guy to join your family, Mana could be the one for you. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. His $100 adoption fee also includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Mana on his Petfinder profile at https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/37425697. If you’re looking for a handsome boy with lots of love to give, then Mana may be the one for you. You can also meet Mana and other animals available for adoption, in person, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, 21615 64th Ave. S.; Monday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m. Call 206-296-PETS, or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
