Federal Way author Phillip Douglas will be a featured guest at Columbia Winery’s Foodie Friday event from 5-7 p.m. on Sept. 4.

He will be reading from and signing his multi-award winning novel “Spirit Made Smaller.”

The spellbinding medical murder mystery was the only recipient of double international wins at the 2015 International Book Awards). It was previously accorded a duo of finalist medals late last year by the USA Best Book Awards. Most recently, “Spirit Made Smaller” was selected as one of the “15 Readers Picks for Best Summer Reading.” Douglas is presently at work on his next novel, a suspense mystery spanning locations from the Oregon Coast to Europe and Indonesia.
