Jazz LIVE at Marine View, the free monthly jazz concert series for all ages, will feature saxophonist Patrick Lamb at 5 p.m. Jan. 8 at Marine View Church, 8469 Eastside Dr. NE, Tacoma.

Lamb is riding the success wave with his latest song “Sweet Tea,” currently number six on the national Billboard contemporary jazz charts. Infusing his Southern roots and influences into his development as a musician, songwriter and performer, Lamb has created a synergistic sound of funk, soul, R&B and jazz. Extensive touring with the likes of Grammy-winner Diane Schuur and legendary R&B vocalists Bobby Caldwell and Gino Vannelli, coupled with his own solo efforts, have led to solid and consistent recognition by his peers and community as a world class talent.
